Let's do Sergers!!!

Have you ever wanted to learn to use a serger, or learn the great options for sewing on sergers?  Join us for an introductory project on the serger. We will make ruffled tea towels featuring rolled hems, gathering, and sewing with the serger

If you have a serger, bring it with the instruction manual.  Bring neutral colored thread for your loopers and needles.  Please bring all the tools that come with your serger as well.   If your stash includes decorative threads such as 12 weight thread or embroidery thread, please bring it along.

You may rent a serger from us for the class for a small fee.  Please call the shop and let us know if you will need to rent one.  972-955-7444.  If you decide to buy a serger from us within 30 days of the class, the rental fee will be refunded towards your purchase.

A Coverstitch machine (5-threads) will be available for use if you do not have your own machine.  If you have a combo serger/coverstitch you may bring it.

The cost of the class includes one tea towel per participant plus coordinating fabric.  Additional towels and fabric may be purchased for 10% off after class registration.

Cancellation Policy

Thank you for signing up for a class at Sewcial Creatives.  To be respectful of our teachers the following cancellation policy will be strictly adhered to. 

CANCELLATIONS MUST BE MADE IN PERSON OR BY PHONE DURING REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS.

In the event that you are unable to attend the class, you must cancel 7 days prior to class to receive a FULL refund or store credit.

If you cancel between 6 and 4 days prior to class date, there is a 50% forfeiture fee and you will receive store credit only for the difference.  

If you cancel 3 days or less prior to class, your fee is 100% forfeited.
