A Place for Everything -- TWO DAY CLASS

This is an advanced bag making class for A Place for Everything By Annie patterns.  This spacious organizer stores and carries tools and supplies in its many pockets.  The bag features handles and an adjustable/detachable carrying strap along with two removable pocket pages with mesh or vinyl pockets in a variety of styles

 Class Dates are Saturday, September 27th and Monday, October 13th. 9:30am-5pm each day.

ALL PREP INCLUDING QUILTING AND CUTTING OF FABRICS MUST BE DONE BEFORE THE FIRST CLASS.

Supplies Needed:

Pattern and all supplies are available at the Sewcial Creatives shop.  

1. Sewing machine in good working order with straight stitch foot and zipper foot.  If you have a heavy duty machine, please bring it.

2. Main Fabric - 1.5 yards

3. Lining Fabric - 1.5 yards

4. Coordinating Fabric - (handles, straps, front pocket border, page facings) - 1.125 yard  

5.  Mesh fabric for interior bag pockets 1/2 yard

6.  Mesh fabric and or vinyl for pockets on pages - 1/2-1 yard

7. Handbag zippers - you will need 222" of zipper tape and 16 or more zipper pulls

8. Fusible interfacing such as SF101 - 1/2 yard

9.  1" polypro strapping - 5 yards

10.  1" hardware:  two 1" D rings or triangle rings; two 1" swivel hooks; one 1" wide mouth slider

11.  Fold over eleastic, 20mm - 1.25 yards

12 3/4" hook and loop tape - 6"

13.  Thread to match fabric.  Cotton or polyester. sewing clips, chalk marker or removable pen, ⅛” double sided tape, other favorite sewing supplies.

Bring your own machine.  Walking foot is recommended for this project

Class is taught by Erin Mankowski.

You may bring a lunch and or snacks.  We have sodas, bottled water and chips available for .50 cents.  Small refrigerator available for use.

Cancellation Policy

Thank you for signing up for a class at Sewcial Creatives.  To be respectful of our teachers the following cancellation policy will be strictly adhered to. 

In the event that you are unable to attend the class, you must cancel 7 days prior to class to receive a FULL refund or store credit.

If you cancel between 6 and 4 days prior to class date, there is a 50% forfeiture fee and you will receive store credit only for the difference.  

If you cancel 3 days or less prior to class, your fee is 100% forfeited.
