Return Policy

We want you to love your purchase. Due to the nature of our products, some items are non-returnable, but we’ll always do our best to make things right.  Please ask if you have a question about a specific item.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Fabric by the yard
  • Pre-cut fabric
  • Patterns, books & kits
  • Zippers by the yard
  • Special orders

Store Credit or Exchange

  • Cork and vinyl (uncut and in original packaging) are eligible within 30 days of purchase. 
  • Notions, hardware and sewing machine accessories (unused and in original packaging). 

Classes and Events

See "Classes/Events" for class cancellation policy.  If a class is cancelled by the store for any reason you will be offered store credit or a full refund to your original payment method.

New Sewing Machines and Floor Model Machines

  • Include a 1-year labor warranty through Sewcial Creatives, in addition to the manufacturer’s warranty
  • Customers must contact us immediately with any issues so we can resolve them promptly
  •  To protect your warranty, please do not open or attempt to service your machine yourself.

Returns & Exchanges (New Machines)

  • Eligible within 30 days of purchase
  • Must be returned in original packaging with all accessories, parts, and bonus items
  • Machine must be in like-new condition and will be inspected upon return

Options:

  • Exchange: Equal or greater value
  • Return: Refund minus a minimum 30% restocking fee

After 30 days:

  • Machine is considered used and valued accordingly at the store’s discretion for exchange only.

Used Sewing Machines

  •  Used machines are sold “as is” and do not include a warranty unless explicitly stated at the time of purchase.

Warranty/Repairs

  • We provide in-house labor support for new machines purchased directly from Sewcial Creatives for 1 year from the date of purchase. Machines purchased from other dealers are not eligible for this service. Please refer to your manufacturer’s warranty for parts coverage.
  • We are happy to service machines purchased from other dealers; however, labor fees will apply. Any applicable manufacturer warranty may cover parts, but labor is not included through Sewcial Creatives.
  • Machines are serviced in the order they are received. While we always strive to prioritize machines purchased from Sewcial Creatives, turnaround times may vary.

New Machine Lessons

  •  Your machine purchase includes basic training covering threading, bobbin winding, needle and foot changes, cleaning, and basic operation.
  • Additional classes may be recommended depending on your machine model, including separate sessions for sewing and embroidery machines.
  • We kindly ask that you respect your scheduled lesson time. We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. After two cancellations or missed appointments, the complimentary lesson may be forfeited.

Shipping Policy

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable on all purchases.
  • Customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with returns and exchanges.
  • For machines or items sent to Sewcial Creatives for service or repair, customers are responsible for all shipping costs to and from our store.
  • We strongly recommend insuring all shipments, as Sewcial Creatives is not responsible for items lost or damaged during transit.
