This beginner friendly shirt is super cute and perfect for many occasions. This class will teach you cutting a pattern and constructing a top. This class will also teach you bias binding. This shirt is so easy, you will want to make more!
This workshop is an introduction to the world of apparel making. The shirt should be completed by the time you to home. A sewing machine is required. You must prewash your fabric before class.
Beginning sewing skills are a prerequisite for this class. You should be comfortable threading your machine, winding a bobbin, changing needles, and changing stitches on a sewing machine.
Bring your own machine and manual. If you need to rent a machine let us know. There is a $25 fee for machine rental. If you purchase a machine from us, the rental applies towards the purchase.

Supplies available at the shop. Receive a 10% discount on supplies purchased during class.
Basic recommended supplies:
Pattern
Fabric: 1 5/8 yards for main fabric of top; 1/2 yard for bias binding
Pins--LOTS of pins
Scissors or snips (I always use pinking shears when I cut fabric)
Thread to match your fabric
Seam ripper
Measuring tape
Pattern ease or tracing paper is helpful, especially if you plan on making many shirts in different sizes.
You may bring a lunch and or snacks. We have sodas, bottled water and chips available for .50 cents. Small refrigerator available for use.
Cancellation Policy
Thank you for signing up for a class at Sewcial Creatives. To be respectful of our teachers the following cancellation policy will be strictly adhered to.
In the event that you are unable to attend the class, you must cancel 7 days prior to class to receive a FULL refund or store credit.
If you cancel between 6 and 4 days prior to class date, there is a 50% forfeiture fee and you will receive store credit only for the difference.
If you cancel 3 days or less prior to class, your fee is 100% forfeited.
