Beginner Friendly: Puff Quilt

PUFF QUILT

This extremely cute and cuddly quilt is a beginner quilter's dream!  It's also great to use your scraps of fabric and of batting.

The puff quilt does not require quilting.  It requires sewing squares together and stuffing them for the puff.  This is a technique class.  You will leave with the skills to finish this quilt, but you probably will not leave with a finished quilt, depending on the size of your quilt

Beginning sewing skills are a prerequisite for this class.  You should be comfortable threading your machine, winding a bobbin, changing needles, and changing stitches on a sewing machine.

Bring your own machine and manual.  YOUR MACHINE MUST BE IN GOOD WORKING ORDER FOR THIS CLASS.  If you need to rent a machine let us know.  There is a $25 fee for machine rental. If you purchase a machine from us, the rental applies towards the purchase.

Class is taught by Melinda Brown.

Supplies available at the shop.  Receive a 10% discount on supplies purchased for this class. 

Basic recommended supplies:

48 or more 5 1/4" squares.  

Stuffing -- batting scraps or pillow stuffing.  Just be consistent.

Sewing machine in good working order with foot pedal and power cord.

Zipper foot for sewing machine if you have one.

Cancellation Policy

Thank you for signing up for a class at Sewcial Creatives.  To be respectful of our teachers the following cancellation policy will be strictly adhered to. 

CANCELLATIONS OR RESCHEDULING (IF AVAILABLE) MUST BE IN PERSON OR BY PHONE DURING BUSINESS HOURS.

Class fees are fully refundable only if cancellation or rescheduling (if available) is made at least 7 days prior to the class. If you cancel or reschedule at least 4 days but less than 7 days prior to the class date, class fees are 50% refundable for a store credit.  If you cancel or reschedule 3 days or less prior to the date of the class, your class fees will not be refunded.
