Beginner Friendly Series: Notebook Cover

One Day Class

Discover the joy of quilting in this beginner-friendly workshop! We will piece together 2 1/2" squares, quilt the. project, and make a cover for a notebook or journal.

This workshop is beginner friendly.  You will be able to take a mostly completed notebook cover home with you.

Beginning sewing skills are a prerequisite for this class.  You should be comfortable threading your machine, winding a bobbin, changing needles, and changing stitches on a sewing machine.

Bring your own machine and manual.  If you need to rent a machine let us know.  There is a $25 fee for machine rental. If you purchase a machine from us, the rental applies towards the purchase.

Class is taught by Sara Rodriguez.

Supplies available at the shop.  Receive a 10% discount on supplies purchased during class. 

Basic recommended supplies:

Pattern is free!

Fabric:  one mini charm pack; 1/2 yard of contrasting fabric

1/2 yard SF101

Scrap piece of batting at least 17" x 11"

Recommended to bring a composition notebook to fit.  You may customize it if you wish.

You may bring a lunch and or snacks.  We have sodas, bottled water and chips available for .50 cents.  Small refrigerator available for use.

Cancellation Policy

Thank you for signing up for a class at Sewcial Creatives.  To be respectful of our teachers the following cancellation policy will be strictly adhered to. 

In the event that you are unable to attend the class, you must cancel 7 days prior to class to receive a FULL refund or store credit.

If you cancel between 6 and 4 days prior to class date, there is a 50% forfeiture fee and you will receive store credit only for the difference.  

If you cancel 3 days or less prior to class, your fee is 100% forfeited.
