Funky Friends Manatee Class

Make a stuffed Manatee from your favorite fabric!

If you ever wanted to venture into the Funky Friends Factory, this class is for you.  We have chosen a beginner friendly manatee as our first animal.  You can make this manatee out of cotton or knit fabric.  

We will provide a kit including eyes, felt, batting, stuffing, and a hand sewing needle.  You bring fabric, thread, and your sewing machine!

Supply list:

• Sewing machine in good working order with cord and foot pedal.  You should be comfortable threading your machine, winding bobbins, and working with the stitch menus in your machine.
• Fabric for the outer animal (1/3 yard) and for the fins and tummy (fat quarter)
• Matching thread
• 1/4" foot for your sewing machine
• Erasable or disappearing ink pen for fabric
• Straight pins or clips
• Seam ripper
