Hemingway Bag Class
Meet the Hemingway Pouch! It’s a fast and easy pattern with a unique diagonal zipper that really elevates the look! It comes in four sizes: perfect for fitting everything from eyeglasses to IPads.
Class is taught by Erin.
Pattern is available at the Sewcial Creatives shop. Please refer to the bag pattern for specific fabric requirements depending on the size you would like to make.
Supplies:
- • Sewing machine in good working condition with foot pedal and power cord. You must be able to use your machine, including threading, winding a bobbin, and changing a needle.
- Walking foot recommended
- Main fabric--all sizes except XL require a fat quarter. XL requires 2/3 yard
- • Lining fabric--all sizes except XL require a fat quarter. XL requires 2/3 yard
- •Accent fabric--Fat Eighth or 1/8 yard for Small and Medium. 1/4 yard for Large and XL
- •Foam stabilizer (Soft & Stable recommended)- refer to pattern
- •Size 5 Zipper with matching pull--refer to pattern for size.

Rotary Cutter and mat
Pencil or marking tool
Pins or Clips
Scissors
Quilt safety pins or basting spray
You may bring a lunch and or snacks. We have sodas, bottled water and chips available for .50 cents. Small refrigerator available for use.

By attending classes at our store, you consent to being photographed and/or recorded during class activities. We may use these images for promotional purposes, including on our website, social media, and marketing materials. If you prefer not to be included, please notify us in writing in advance of the class.
Cancellation Policy
Thank you for signing up for a class at Sewcial Creatives. To be respectful of our teachers the following cancellation policy will be strictly adhered to.
CANCELLATIONS OR RESCHEDULING (IF AVAILABLE) MUST BE IN PERSON OR BY PHONE DURING BUSINESS HOURS.
Class fees are fully refundable only if cancellation or rescheduling (if available) is made at least 7 days prior to the class. If you cancel or reschedule at least 4 days but less than 7 days prior to the class date, class fees are 50% refundable for a store credit. If you cancel or reschedule 3 days or less prior to the date of the class, your class fees will not be refunded.
