Jelly Roll Jacket
This class is for a confident beginner. We will take a sweatshirt, decorate it with fabric, and make a stunning, custom jacket. The fabric doesn't have to be a jelly roll. Your jacket can be decorated with scraps from your "creative resource" (stash), or even just a single fabric. Make it your own! I guarantee that no one will have one like it!
Supply list:
- Sewing machine, power cord, foot pedal, and 1/4" foot. Your sewing machine must be in good working order, and you must know how to operate your machine. Walking foot recommended.
- Directions are included with the class fee, there is no formal pattern required.
- Jelly Roll or fabric equivalent to 2.5 yards. You may need more or less depending on your size.
- Sweatshirt that is at least one size too big for you, no hoods please. You can choose any color sweatshirt, it will show as your lining.
- Coordinating cotton thread for piecing (can be neutral like cream, white, or light grey)
- Straight pins, clips
- Fabric scissors

You may bring a lunch and or snacks. We have sodas, bottled water and chips available for .50 cents. Small refrigerator available for use.

By attending classes at our store, you consent to being photographed and/or recorded during class activities. We may use these images for promotional purposes, including on our website, social media, and marketing materials. If you prefer not to be included, please notify us in writing in advance of the class.
Cancellation Policy
Thank you for signing up for a class at Sewcial Creatives. To be respectful of our teachers the following cancellation policy will be strictly adhered to.
CANCELLATIONS OR RESCHEDULING (IF AVAILABLE) MUST BE IN PERSON OR BY PHONE DURING BUSINESS HOURS.
Class fees are fully refundable only if cancellation or rescheduling (if available) is made at least 7 days prior to the class. If you cancel or reschedule at least 4 days but less than 7 days prior to the class date, class fees are 50% refundable for a store credit. If you cancel or reschedule 3 days or less prior to the date of the class, your class fees will not be refunded.
