The Payday bag offers mulitple pockets for cards and zippers to keep your items secure.  It can be worn over the shoulder, crossbody, around the waist, or carried as a clutch.  Best of all, this bag can be made out of whatever fabric you choose!

This class is great for confident beginners of By Annie patternswho want to explore their sewing skills.

Cutting all of your fabric pieces MUST be completed before class.  If you need help, come see us on Open Sew Wednesdays or call the shop for an appointment

Supplies Needed:

Pattern and all supplies are available at the Sewcial Creatives shop.  

1. Sewing machine in good working order with straight stitch foot and zipper foot. Walking foot is also helpful for this project.

2. Main Fabric - small bag:  1/2 yard; large bag: 3/4 yard

3. Lining Fabric - 1/2 yard both sizes

4. Soft and Stable - 1/2 yard for both sizes

5. Handbag zippers - small bag:  30" double-slide zipper; large bag: 40" double-slide zipper

8. Fusible interfacing such as SF101 - small bag:  7/8 yard; large bag: 1 1/4 yards

9.  1" polypro strapping - 2 1/4 yards

10.  1" hardware:  two 1" D rings or triangle rings; two 1" swivel hooks; one 1" wide mouth slider

11.  14mm sew-in magnetic snaps:  2 sets

12.  Thread to match fabric.  Cotton or polyester. 

13.  sewing clips, chalk marker or removable pen, ⅛” double sided tape, other favorite sewing supplies.

You may bring a lunch and or snacks.  We have sodas, bottled water and chips available for .50 cents.  Small refrigerator available for use.

Cancellation Policy

Thank you for signing up for a class at Sewcial Creatives.  To be respectful of our teachers the following cancellation policy will be strictly adhered to. 

In the event that you are unable to attend the class, you must cancel 7 days prior to class to receive a FULL refund or store credit.

If you cancel between 6 and 4 days prior to class date, there is a 50% forfeiture fee and you will receive store credit only for the difference.  

If you cancel 3 days or less prior to class, your fee is 100% forfeited.
