Ribbon Quilt with Krista - Two Day Class

Join us to make this stunning quilt!

Krista Madigan is an accomplished quilter and great friend!  Join Krista Madigan as she helps you build this confident beginner/intermediate quilt.  The quilt finishes at 75"x75."  The pattern may seem daunting, but all of it is pieced.  Krista will walk you through all the tips and tricks to make sure you finish with a stunning masterpiece. Also, you may sign up for a second day of class to get extra help sewing your quilt!

The Ribbon quilt has been featured in many fabrics and sizes of ribbons.  This quilt features narrower stripes that highlight more fabric colors and designs than the traditional ribbon quilt.

We made our sample with Mia Charro's Floral Fiesta fabric collection.  A limited number of kits are available at the shop.  You may also bring your own fabric if you prefer.  Remember that you receive 10% off all of your supplies for this class after registration.  The pattern is included in your registration fee.

DO NOT CUT YOUR FABRIC BEFORE CLASS!

Supply list:

• Sewing machine with power cord and foot pedal.  Your sewing machine must be in good working order and you must be able to operate your machine independently.  
• 1/4" presser foot for sewing machine
• Neutral thread for piecing.
• Stiletto
• Optional:  Rotary cutter, mat, and ruler
• Optional:  Iron and ironing mat

Fabric needed:

• 1/2 yards of 10 coordinating fabrics for ribbons
• 5/8 yard of one coordinating fabric to match others
• 2 3/8 yards solid fabric for background
• 5/8 yard for binding
• 4 2/3 yards fabric for backing (not needed for class)

You may bring a lunch and or snacks.  We have sodas, bottled water and chips available for .50 cents.  Small refrigerator available for use.

Cancellation Policy

Thank you for signing up for a class at Sewcial Creatives.  To be respectful of our teachers the following cancellation policy will be strictly adhered to. 

CANCELLATIONS MUST BE IN PERSON OR BY PHONE DURING BUSINESS HOURS.

In the event that you are unable to attend the class, you must cancel 7 days prior to class to receive a FULL refund or store credit.

If you cancel between 6 and 4 days prior to class date, there is a 50% forfeiture fee and you will receive store credit only for the difference.  

If you cancel 3 days or less prior to class, your fee is 100% forfeited.
