Sewing 102 - Easter Basket

One Day Class

Now that you have finished Beginner Sewing and understand how to thread your machine, wind a bobbin, and sew a straight stitch, it's time to take your sewing skills to the next level!  Join Sara and Melinda as we walk you through sewing an Easter basket for you or a special person in your life!

You may bring your own machine or rent a machine from us.  Please note, if you bring your own machine, it must be in good working order, and you must know how to operate it.  If you would like further instruction on how to operate your own machine, please sign up for a Sewcial Session before signing up for this class.

The stabilizer needed for the basket plus the pattern is included in the class fee.  You can pick your fabric from our wide selection at the store and receive a 10% discount for your class supplies! 

Supplies needed:

1/4 yard of exterior fabric and 1/4 yard lining fabric

Pins or clips

Scissors or snips

Thread to match fabric

Seam ripper

We welcome all students ages 13 and up for our classes.  Ages 13-15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during class.  Ages 16-18 must present a signed waiver prior to starting class.  You may print out the waiver here.

You may bring water or snacks.  

Cancellation Policy

Thank you for signing up for a class at Sewcial Creatives.  To be respectful of our teachers the following cancellation policy will be strictly adhered to. 

CANCELLATIONS MUST BE IN PERSON OR BY PHONE DURING BUSINESS HOURS.

In the event that you are unable to attend the class, you must cancel 7 days prior to class to receive a FULL refund or store credit.

If you cancel between 6 and 4 days prior to class date, there is a 50% forfeiture fee and you will receive store credit only for the difference.  

If you cancel 3 days or less prior to class, your fee is 100% forfeited.
