Sewing 102 - Easy Zippered Pouch

One Day Class

Now that you have finished Beginner Sewing and understand how to thread your machine, wind a bobbin, and sew a straight stitch, it's time to take your sewing skills to the next level!  Join Sara and Melinda as we walk you through sewing zippers in an easy and cute zippered pouch.  You can use this pouch to store pencils, makeup, clips, or anything. It can even be a gift!

You may bring your own machine or rent a machine from us.  Please note, if you bring your own machine, it must be in good working order, and you must know how to operate it.  If you would like further instruction on how to operate your own machine, please sign up for a Sewcial Session before signing up for this class.

A kit that includes fabric and a zipper is included in this class.

Other supplies available at the shop.  Receive a 10% discount on supplies purchased during class.

Pins or clips

Scissors or snips

Thread

Seam ripper

Scrap fabric 

Note taking materials

You may bring water or snacks.  

Cancellation Policy

Thank you for signing up for a class at Sewcial Creatives.  To be respectful of our teachers the following cancellation policy will be strictly adhered to. 

CANCELLATIONS MUST BE IN PERSON OR BY PHONE DURING BUSINESS HOURS.

In the event that you are unable to attend the class, you must cancel 7 days prior to class to receive a FULL refund or store credit.

If you cancel between 6 and 4 days prior to class date, there is a 50% forfeiture fee and you will receive store credit only for the difference.  

If you cancel 3 days or less prior to class, your fee is 100% forfeited.
