Sewing Machine Cover

One day class

This class is a a project for confident sewers.  This class teaches you how to make a nice padded cover for your sewing machine.  Great to keep your machine looking like new!  You will learn zippers, binding, how to sew with mesh, and how to make pockets.  

Bring your own machine. If you have a heavy duty machine such as the Janome HD9 or Bernette B08, please bring this machine.

Your fabric must be quilted and cut out before you come to class.  If you need help quilting or cutting your fabric, please attend an Open Sew event or call the shop for additional help.  972-955-7444. 

Supply list:

• Sewing machine, power cord, foot pedal, and walking foot.  If you have a heavy duty machine such as the Janome HD9 or Bernette B08, please bring this machine
• Pattern available at the shop:  Under Cover by Annie
• Binding clips
• Erasable marking pen
• Jeans needle 90/14. May need several.
• This cover comes in several sizes and you can customize it to your machine.  Please check the pattern for fabric requirements including zippers and By Annie Soft & Stable--The Pattern requirements are at the bottom of this page.

You may bring a lunch and or snacks.  We have sodas, bottled water and chips available for .50 cents.  Small refrigerator available for use.

By attending classes at our store, you consent to being photographed and/or recorded during class activities.  We may use these images for promotional purposes, including on our website, social media, and marketing materials.  If you prefer not to be included, please notify us in writing in advance of the class.

Cancellation Policy

Thank you for signing up for a class at Sewcial Creatives.  To be respectful of our teachers the following cancellation policy will be strictly adhered to. 

CANCELLATIONS OR RESCHEDULING (IF AVAILABLE) MUST BE IN PERSON OR BY PHONE DURING BUSINESS HOURS.

Class fees are fully refundable only if cancellation or rescheduling (if available) is made at least 7 days prior to the class. If you cancel or reschedule at least 4 days but less than 7 days prior to the class date, class fees are 50% refundable for a store credit.  If you cancel or reschedule 3 days or less prior to the date of the class, your class fees will not be refunded.
