Snow Globe Pillow Class with Dusty Allendorf

Join us for this wonderful class.  We will use different techniques including cutting, raw edge applique, and piecing to make this spectacular pillow.

Dusty has developed this pattern on her own.  It is original to our quilting world.  The pattern is ONLY available by registering for this class. 

Kit is available that includes laser precut design in either Halloween or Holiday motif.  The kit also includes vinyl and glitter for the snow globe effect, and cork for the snowglobe base.

Supply List:

• Sewing machine in good working order with foot pedal and power cord.  Must be able to thread machine, wind a bobbin, and sew a straight stitch independently.  
• Materials & Yardage
• • Front & Back / Main Body / Globe Frame: 1 yard quilting cotton (non-directional) fabric
    Must have at least 18" × 41.5" usable width.
  • Globe Background: 1 fat quarter or 18" square
  • Clear Vinyl: 14" square
  • SF-101: 1¾ yards (before class, fuse to Front & Back / Main Body / Globe Frame 18"xWOF and  Globe Background)    
• Appliqué Alternative: Instead of appliqué, use a pre-printed panel, embroidery, cute dish towel, or orphan quilt block. The globe's visible area is about 12", so the design cannot exceed this. Add scrap borders (they are not visible) if needed to reach the 18" square required for assembly.
• Glue Stick
• Pillow Insert (Not needed for class): 18" pillow insert for a full look
• Walking foot or teflon foot
• Thread to match project
• Seam ripper
• Scissors or snips
• Rotarty Cutter and ruler and mat (these are also available at the shop for use)

By attending classes at our store, you consent to being photographed and/or recorded during class activities.  We may use these images for promotional purposes, including on our website, social media, and marketing materials.  If you prefer not to be included, please notify us in writing in advance of the class.

Cancellation Policy

Thank you for signing up for a class at Sewcial Creatives.  To be respectful of our teachers the following cancellation policy will be strictly adhered to. 

CANCELLATIONS OR RESCHEDULING (IF AVAILABLE) MUST BE IN PERSON OR BY PHONE DURING BUSINESS HOURS.

Class fees are fully refundable only if cancellation or rescheduling (if available) is made at least 7 days prior to the class. If you cancel or reschedule at least 4 days but less than 7 days prior to the class date, class fees are 50% refundable for a store credit.  If you cancel or reschedule 3 days or less prior to the date of the class, your class fees will not be refunded.
